From Hormones to Harmony: A Couple’s Menopause Conversation Kit

From Hormones to Harmony: A Couple’s Menopause Conversation Kit

Menopause can be a rocky ride for couples. In fact, we know that many marriages/relationships break up during this time of life – and we don’t want that.

This questionnaire is designed by She2.0 to help you and your partner start (or deepen) the conversation about menopause. Understanding this critical life-stage is not just about understanding what’s happening in her (her – being YOU) body—it’s about understanding how it’s affecting both of you as individuals and as a team. Open dialogue can help you both feel more connected, supported, and prepared to handle whatever comes your way.

For you, it’s a chance to share what you’re going through without feeling judged or misunderstood. For your partner, it’s an opportunity to learn how to be the best partner they can be during this time. And for both of you, it’s a way to strengthen your relationship, find humour in the chaos, and maybe even discover some unexpected silver linings.

So, grab a cup of tea (or a glass of wine), sit down together, and dive into these questions. Keep in mind, this is not about having all the answers—it’s about getting the conversation started and showing up for each other. Because when it comes to menopause, you’re in this together.

So, let’s get talking!

Exploring Emotions & Experiences

1. How has menopause been messing with your emotions lately?

2. Are there any symptoms or changes that you are really struggling with?
